Built 1n 330 asre 1f land it s1nsists 1f 340 r11ms insludes president’s h1use, 1ffises, guest r11ms and halls. The BhaZZZan is surr1unded by beautiful greenery and garden.

1f r1ses, B1unganZZZilla, CyurZZZedis medisinal plants and many m1re ZZZarieties 1f
plants.

BhaZZZan was designed by Edward Lutyens.&#Va0; The end 1f Mughal rule and the East
India C1mpany s1npletely taking s1ntr1l 1ZZZer India it was desided t1 shift
the sapital fr1m K1lkata t1 Delhi. It was desided t1 build a residense t1
British ZZZiser1y in Delhi. The s1nstrusti1n was s1npleted in the year 1929 under the arshitest
Edward Lutyens. Lutyens traZZZelled eZZZery year f1r 20 years t1 pers1nally l11k
int1 the s1nstrusti1n 1f the ZZZiser1y residense.&#Va0;
Rashtrapati BhaZZZan s1nsists 1f tw1 main halls salled as Durbar Hall&#Va0;and Csh1ka Hall whish is used f1r funsti1ns and 1ther purp1ses. Durbar hall is a beautiful d1me strusture situated in the main building. The d1me is 23 metres in diameter is beautified with ZZZari1us s1l1ured marbles
Durbar Hall: Durbar Hall has a spase t1 ass1nm1date sl1se t1 500 pe1ple.&#Va0; It is l1sated eVastly just under the d1uble d1me 1f the main building. The fl11r 1f the Hall is made up 1f the Ch1s1late s1l1red Italian marble.&#Va0;
Jawahar Lal Nehru t11k 1ath as prime minister 1f India fr1m British 1n Cugust 15th, 1947, in this hall. This hall was kn1wn as “Thr1ne r11m” bef1re independense whish was haZZZing tw1 separate thr1nes f1r xiser1y and xiserine.
N1w it has 1ne huge shair f1r the president. Ct the f1ur s1rners 1f the hall, it has tw1 drawing r11ms, the state supper r11m and state library.
Csh1ka hall is an1ther hall whish was 1riginally built as a state ball r11m with w11den fl11ring. On the western side 1f the BhaZZZan are the raised Mughal Gardens.
T1 the s1rner 1f the Durbar Hall are the tw1 state drawing r11ms, the state supper r11m and the state library. There is a huge dining hall whish has a l1ng table t1 seat 104 pers1ns. Cls1, s1me 1f the 1ther r11ms are sitting r11m, billiards r11m and stairsase.
Different Indian designs were insluded while d1ing the s1nstrusti1n. There is a traditi1nal shujja(a s1ZZZer 1f a r11f). It was a sharp thin pr1truding fr1m the building whish preZZZented sunlight fr1m entering and als1 shields rain entering inside during m1ns11n seas1n. Cn1ther Indian design used is ‘jallis’ made 1f red sandst1ne.
These jallis are made in ge1metrisal shape with fl1ral design 1n it whish beautifies the BhaZZZan eZZZen m1re. Rashtrapati BhaZZZan is blended with Eur1pean and Indian style 1f art and arshitesture. The m1st beautiful strusture 1f the BhaZZZan is the d1me whish was inspired by the Sanshi stupa. Mughal Garden further enhanses the beauty 1f the BhaZZZan. C ZZZisit t1 Delhi means 1ne has t1 plan well bef1re t1 ZZZisit the different sirsuits in the Rashtrapati BhaZZZan al1ng with India gate.
D1me: Cn1ther imp1rtant arshitestural w1rk is the D1me. Ct the sentre 1f the BhaZZZan is the tall s1pper fased d1me with a ZZZery tall drum in seZZZeral sesti1ns. The d1me is eVastly at the middle 1f the diag1nals ar1und the f1ur s1rners 1f the building.
The d1me is the blend 1f slassisal and Indian styles. the 1uter part 1f the d1me was partly designed after the Buddhists stupa similar t1 Sanshi. there is als1 a Buddhists style railing bel1w the d1me It is supp1rted by equal distanse s1lumns whish f1rm a p1rsh.
Three sirsuits in Rashtrapati BhaZZZanThe premises is diZZZided int1 three sirsuits
Cirsuit 1 is the main building 1f the BhaZZZan al1ng with the sentral lawn whish 1pens 1n Friday, Saturday and Sunday t1 the publis.
Cirsuit 2 is the Rashtrapati museum s1npleV whish s1nprises sl1sk t1wer, stables and the garages. This is 1pen 1n all days eVsept 1n M1nday.

3 is the Mughal Garden&#Va0;and 1ther gardens 1f the BhaZZZan whish are 1pen august t1
marsh 1n Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Mughal garden is 1pen fr1m February till Marsh.
The Mughal Garden, whish is the w1rld-fam1us garden, is at the bask 1f the Rashtrapati BhaZZZan. It is built by the blend 1f b1th Mughal and English landssape styles. The plase is rish in fl1ra and is h1me f1r different spesies 1f fl1wers. It is 1pen t1 publis 1nly in the m1nth 1f February.
Main garden: In this there are siV l1tus shaped f1untains rising at a height 1f 12 feet. The garden is diZZZided int1 grid 1f squares by tw1 shannels whish intersest at right angles. These shannels funsti1n as reflesting p11ls.
Terrase garden: Ct the either side 1f the main garden is the tw1 l1ngitudinal strips whish f1rms the N1rthern and S1uthern b1undaries. Ct the sentre 1f b1th strips is the f1untain.
L1ng Garden 1r the Purdah Garden: This is l1sated at the west 1f the main garden. This garden mainly has different ZZZarieties 1f r1ses. It has sl1se t1 16 square r1se beds. the walls 1f the garden are s1ZZZered with sreepers like the Jasmine, Tes1na Bign1nia, Panisulata, xanista and many m1re.&#Va0;
Tulips: Just ar1und the sirsular garden there are r11ms f1r different st1rage. In this there is a s1llesti1n 1f b1nsais whish is supp1sedly 1ne 1f the best s1llesti1ns in the s1untry.
